Q: When should I schedule my newborn photography session?
A: Newborn photography sessions should occur within the first 4 to 10 days of your newborn’s life – this will allow us to capture those first magical moments that seem to escape us within a blink of the eye.
At this age your newborn will be sleeping deeply and curling up naturally for those precious newborn poses. However, we understand that these first few weeks can be unpredictable, and although we can no longer capture some of the flexible poses from those early days, we still welcome babies more than two weeks old for newborn sessions.
Q: How long is a typical newborn session?
A: Newborn photography sessions are approximately 2 to 3 hours in duration. This allows time for nursing, soothing, and mom or dad’s cuddles.
Elizabeth Roy Photography creates a warm, peaceful, and friendly environment with a number one priority of your comfort and the safety of your precious newborn. These sessions are gentle, and I patiently take the time to perfect each pose. My tender and detailed approach allows me to capture your newborn’s precious moments that you’ll be able to cherish forever.
Q: What clothing or accessories should I bring to my newborn photography session?
A: Accessories for your photography session are provided. These items include headbands, hats, and rompers.
I also welcome you to bring a favorite outfit, or other clothing you’d like your precious one to be photographed in. If you’d like to bring these additional items, I can provide guidance prior to your session as certain patterns will photograph better than others.
Q: Who can participate in my newborn photography session?
A: Moms, dads, and siblings are included; other family members or friends may incur an additional cost.
Q: What is the cost of a newborn photography session?
