Q: How far along should I be in my pregnancy when scheduling a maternity photography session?
A: We recommend any time after 32 weeks and up to 38 weeks for your maternity photography session. We recommend not scheduling your session after this time in case you deliver early.
Q: What settings or sceneries are available for my maternity photography session?
A: A variety of settings for expecting moms are offered. Whether you prefer your shoot to be in the studio, your home, or outdoors there are several options to choose from. I will work with you to identify the ideal location that fits your preferences.
Q: How long is a typical maternity photography session?
A: Your maternity session will last anywhere between 90 minutes to 2 hours depending on the setting(s) requested.
Q: What maternity clothing should I wear or bring to my maternity photography session?
A: You can bring one or more of your favorite maternity outfits to the session; however, certain patterns will photograph better than other and I can provide guidance prior to or at your session. Outfits that accentuate your bump photograph the best. Maternity dresses for your session are also available.
Q: Who can participate in my maternity photography session?
A: Moms, dads, and siblings are included; other family members or friends may incur an additional cost.
