My last baby is turning four at the end of August. I have been waiting for all of this baby weight I’ve accumulated to just fall off–magically! It’s so hard to balance what is good for me and what I need to do for my family. I have been spending way too much time not moving and then my kids don’t move either! I don’t want to be satisfied with my kids watching videos on my phone rather than going on adventures with me! Another thing that has occurred in our family is we figured out that my daughter has a dairy sensitivity. She doesn’t have a life threatening allergy… Keep Reading
I have an important job in my family. I document what is most important, I’m the Timekeeper. I’m the maker and keeper of memories. I document the growth of our family from year to year. I love my job! I love capturing families! I believe in any event that brings a family together for the purpose of documenting their existence. I believe that your typical Holiday card picture with everyone looking at the camera is necessary and important at least once a year. It’s something tangible that can be held and admired year after year. It is amazing to look at these photos and see your children growing. My mother… Keep Reading
2017 marks my third year embarking on a 365 project. A 365 project is when you take one photo daily for an entire year. It sounds easy enough, but it can become very overwhelming, very quickly! People say, that doing a 365 will help improve your vision and voice and help develop your creativity. I know it’s true, shooting daily surely helps with making nice, more interesting photographs and that is why I have continued on-even though I swore this year I was going to take a break!! I do really love seeing all of my photographs in one spot-it’s motivating to see your growth. Maybe you have decided to… Keep Reading
My son turned three at the end of the summer. My baby, my sweetheart, my little boy who will give kisses and hugs and drive me completely crazy! These years are going so fast! It won’t be long before he is in school full time, an event I have been both dreading and desperately looking forward to! I had an idea to do a beach session-because I just love the beach, but the thing about photographing your own kids is that the dates can be moved, shifted, pushed off and then it just never occurs! This past weekend, I had a family session at the beach and I decided that… Keep Reading
It’s back to school time here in Cream Ridge, New Jersey. Actually, the kids have been back since after Labor Day, but we are still trying to get into the groove! I love the fall for the warm days and crisp nights and most importantly the fun, family activities. I love going to see my oldest march at the football games and I even love soccer on Saturday mornings! I love this time of year-I feel like I should post a pumpkin recipe or maybe a soup recipe!
